Frequently Asked Questions

How does my career at zeb start?

The first step is participation in the introductory event “zeb start”. Within this presentation, you will be prepared for a comprehensive range of tasks: Besides organizational information, you will gain insights into zeb-relevant specialist topics and learn key skills.

Can I choose a preferred office location?

As a consultant at zeb, you have free choice of office location within Germany (Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Münster). However, positions in zeb’s internal departments are tied to a specific location and this is explicitly stated in the respective job advertisements.

What is the scope of typical zeb projects?

The project scope is determined by the various customer requirements. As a consequence, projects can last a few weeks up to several years and are staffed with one or two or even 20 zeb consultants.

Where are projects located?

As we closely cooperate with our customers, our consultants mostly work at the customer sites. We apply a 4-to-1 working week model, which means that you usually travel to the customer site on Monday morning and return to your office on Thursday evening. Fridays are used as office days.

What about weekend work at zeb?

Our general working week comprises 5 days and no weekend work. During consulting project stages, single peak times with weekend work might occasionally occur. However, this is the exception rather than the rule.

What kind of payment can I expect at zeb?

zeb offers a competitive salary, composed of a fixed and a variable component. From the career level of manager, employees are entitled to use the zeb company car model.

Does zeb provide for a work-life balance?

zeb consultants follow our 4-to-1 working week model, which means that they work at the customer site from Monday to Thursday, whereas on Fridays, they work in their respective zeb office. For special leave, we offer various versions of sabbaticals.
